Kuvings C7000S Whole Slow Juicer Elite is one of the top-of-the-line elegant juicers combining sleek design and top quality. This model is an improved successor to the favorite Kuvings B6000 model regarding design and performance.

These series come in three color flavors (Red, Silver, and Gold) and glossy look worth your stare with an assurance of not fading with time. That’s not the best part: you only need to disassemble a couple of pieces which does not require fetching for the manuals or seeking another helping hand for easy cleaning.

Although the market is inundated with an odd number of vertical masticating juicers featuring wide feed chutes, Kuvings was the first manufacturer to include the patented design of 3 inches feed chute to their juicers. With this in mind: you can trust this manufacturer to provide you with the best.

Why You Should Consider This Kuvings C7000S Review?

Kuvings have provided the long-awaited solution that bridges the gap between the well-known fast juicing centrifugal juicer and incredible benefits of masticating juicers. The result? Kuvings C7000S Whole Slow Juicer Elite, a model capable of providing high yields, low-oxidized juices without making being noisy. That’s not the best part: you don’t have to speed much time, unlike masticating juicers.

And according to the customers’ feedback, Kuvings have made significant improvement in multiple parts including juice drum, motor base, auger, juice screen, and blank strainer. Without a doubt, this juicer helps you make smoothies, juice, and ice cream and frozen fruit sorbet.

Key Features of Kuvings C7000S

Design and Build Quality

Similarly, Kuvings C700 comes in a compact vertical design, like its predecessor, with a little horizontal footprint. It measures 9” wide x 17.5” tall x 8” deep and weighs 13.9 pounds, and should be perfect for your kitchen cabinet. Also, it a gorgeous-looking kitchen appliance with metal finishing that give that spark you desired – you can’t afford to have this model locked in your cabinet.

Let’s dig a little deeper.

This model comes with different parts:

  • Motor base
  • Drum
  • Food pusher
  • Drum Lid
  • Juice container
  • Juice
  • Pulp container
  • Rotation wiper
  • Standard and spout brushes
  • External rotating easy-brush
  • Auger screw
  • Manual and recipe booklet

More importantly, these parts are safe to come in contact with your food, as they are made with BPA-free plastic. Juicing screen and auger are made with super durable plastic material, GE Ultem, to ensure your safety and durability.

Feed Chute

The feed chute is three inches wide to fit almost all produce, and prevent wasting time on pre-cutting. However, you may face some challenges when you try to juice hard produce, especially for bigger pieces, which may lead to the juicer jammed or switching itself off.

In most cases, these issues arise with large beetroot and carrots. Therefore, doing without pre-cutting depends on what you want to juice.

In addition, same issues may arise with chard stems, celery and other stringy produce known to clog around the pulp-ejection port, which is often experienced with vertical juicers. For this reason, you may want to cut these products to a quarter-inch piece before juicing.

Lastly, there’s a wall-edged funnel attachment meant to be placed on the feed chute to help ensure you don’t miss the chute hole or dropping the produce on the floor or table mistakenly.

Strainers

This series comes with two types of strainers. One strainer for juicing and the other, a blank strainer, to make frozen fruit dessert with your favorites. However, there’s a third strainer for making smoothies, but this is sold separately. With these three strainers, you have the touted “3-in-1 Kuvings Juicer” for making smoothies, ice cream/sorbet and juices.

Non-drip Smart Cap

The drip-free Smart Cap is attached to juicer’s juice outlet and offers you three benefits:

  1. Helps keep your floor or table clean by avoiding dripping when removing the juice container.
  2. Permit the thorough mixing of the ingredients in the juice bowl before turned into a juice container.
  3. For easy cleaning: close the Smart Cap with the juice bowl filled with water for immediate rinsing.

Also, the smart cap design comes with a metal finishing which makes it feel solid, unlike its predecessor.

Containers

C7000 comes with two containers with a capacity of 33.8 ounces. One being for pulp collection and the other for juice. These container’s size is enough to make juice for more than one person without interruptions.

Juice Quality & Yield

In this model, a 240W motor drives the auger slowly at 60 RPM, which ensure efficient extraction of the juice from the produce using a two-stage extraction process:

  • The first stage – the produce is processed into small bits (pulp) by crushing and then released down the auger.
  • The second stage – the pulp is then squeezed against the BPA-free juicing screen thoroughly.

This dual-stage process ensures the juice is protected from rapid oxidation, as opposed to what happens in centrifugal juicers.

Thus, you have a juice with little or no loss in its nutritional content and stays longer than you’d expected (about 72 hours).

No doubt, Kuvings C7000 Whole Slow Juicer Elite is effective and extracts a reasonable amount of juice, provide the products are not very large, and leaves you with dry bits.

Additionally, for optimized results with this juicer, it’s important to know this tip if you hope to get along fine with this model:

  1. If you must blend several ingredients, do not start with the hardest produce,  but rather the softest. Also, always rotate the produce you want to juice.
  2. Anything you do, do not overload the juicer. Before dropping in the next ingredient ensure the previous is already done.
  3. Always allow the hard produce to be juiced appropriately. It helps collect the leftover bits inside your juice bowl.

Meanwhile, Kuving’s suggest that beetroot should be cut into 6 or more pieces in a half moon shape for all their juicers.

However, if you have the juicer jammed for any reason, just make use of the reverse switch to get back to normal operation with a second or two. Besides, this model can run for 30 minutes straight, but it’s important to give the juicer a break.

Performance & Noise

Regarding performance, this model is not very fast – just as its name suggests. Despite its 3-inch wide feed chute, it still operates slower, and all you may have to do is wait. Sadly, people with centrifugal juicers may find this model too slow.

In my experience, these series perform better than most 150W vertical juicers, meaning you won’t experience more jamming with Kuving C700, even with hard produce.

But wait, there’s more: this juicer put worries about noise to rest. The model is relatively quiet, allowing users to put to make juice any time of day without being scared of disturbing others.

Although it is quiet, the loudest sound you may hear is when the auger chews certain produce, and it’s just a squeak. But, the loudest sound can still be described as a very low level of noise.

Easy to Use

According to several customers feedbacks, after unboxing the Kuvings C700 and have all these parts spread out, no doubt, it can feel overwhelming. But, trust me, after assembling these parts more than once, you’ll find it as easy peasy lemon squeeze.

Step-by-step guidelines:

  • Fit the motor base and the juice bowl
  • Next, take the rotation silicone wiper and insert any of the strainers
  • Take the coupled part in step 2 and fit into the juice bowl
  • Insert the auger
  • Place the feeding tube piece (drum lid) on top
  • Attach the wall-edge funnel to the feeding tube piece
  • Lastly, arrange both containers for collecting pulp and juice.

With this juicing tips, you should find assembling very easy and straightforward, even for a newbie. Also, the disassembling these parts is not as challenging as assembling.

Easy to Clean

Here’s the good news, most users claims cleaning this model is hassle-free.

After washing and rinsing all the juicer’s parts by hand, as Kuvings C7000S is not advisable to be washed by a dishwasher, but within 5 minutes you should be done with cleaning.

However, this series’ strainer comes with a new design, which makes it a bit difficult to reach into the juicer’s bottom area despite using the standard cleaning brush provided by Kuvings.

On top of that, there’s a hollow space at the auger’s bottom side, which allows promoting pulp accumulating there. But using your finger, you can easily access and remove those accumulated pulps.

Even better, this model, like most vertical juicers, features the “self-cleaning” system. All you have to do is close the smart cap and fill the juice bowl with water.

The self-cleaning feature comes in handy when you want to make a lot of recipes without having to stop.

There are two tips to help out:

  • Get a plastic bag and line the 33.8 oz. Container meant for collecting pulp, which eliminates the frequent need for cleaning once you are done.
  • Always clean the juicer’s part immediately you finish using it, so no stain sticks and becomes very difficult to clean.

Kuvings, unlike other companies, includes a very convenient spout brush, so take advantage of this and enjoy.

Warranty

The manufacturer has demonstrated its high level of confidence in this series of juicer by providing customers with a limited 10-year warranty. This warranty protects buyers from manufacturer’s defects.

Kuvings C7000S vs Other Kuvings Juicers

No doubt, C7000 was intended to be a better version of other preexisting juicers, especially B6000. The primary goal of Kuvings is to make this juicer easy to clean and quicker to assemble.

Therefore, let’s take a look at important improvements made in this model:

Motor base:

The motor base is not sleeker but also sturdier, and feature the on/off reverse switch at the back.

Juice drum:

The 15.2-ounce juice bowl has been changed without the silicone and two rubber at the bottom. These pieces are sometimes the underlying causes of leakage and make cleaning very challenging. This improvement makes it great to clean.

Juice screen:

The juice screen’s bottom now comes with a rubber piece, as opposed to the juice bowl.

Blank strainer:

The manufacturer adds a rubber piece not to the bottom edge of the blank strainer but the center instead. The outlet now takes Y-shape for effectiveness.

Auger:

This juicer gets better for juicing leafy greens; thanks to the improved auger screw’s bottom edge. Also, Kuving designed the auger’s bottom side hollow to minimize the pulp content contented in your juice.
